Mr. Gonzales has been a small business owner for the past fourteen years. He is the President/CEO of Reuben B Gonzales Insurance Agency, Inc for State Farm Insurance.
Mr. Gonzales has received numerous awards within the company including the following: Quality Cabinet Member, Bronze Table Holder, Millionaire Club, and Select Agent status. He is licensed in property, casualty, life, health, banking, and financial products and services for residents of the State of Arizona.
In 2001 Mr. Gonzales was elected to the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce by the membership. He served as the Public Policy Chairman and helped coordinate the first ever gubernatorial debate hosted by the Chamber. In 2002 he was voted by the Board to the Executive Committee and served in the capacity of Executive Secretary.
Mr. Gonzales believes in working with the community and has served on several boards and steering committees as follows:

In 2001 Senator Domenici (R-NM) invited Mr. Gonzales, a successful small business owner, to the White House to attend the first ever Cinco De Mayo Celebration hosted by a President, President Bush.
Prior to Mr. Gonzales’ career as a Small business owner, he was a Sales Engineer for General Electric Company for twelve years. He moved around the country on a management-training program and moved through the ranks and became the Large Project Sales Engineer here in Phoenix. He decided to make Phoenix his home in 1984.
Mr. Gonzales received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in 1981.
Mr. Gonzales met Carmen his wife of eighteen years in Phoenix. They share the same beliefs in faith, family, strong work ethic and a balanced life style. They have two beautiful kids, Gabriel 11 and Juliana 6. |
