Judy Wood

Judy Wood has owned Contact One Call Center for 25 years. Prior to purchasing the company (then known as A-1 Metro Answering Service) she was a Compensations and Benefits Analyst for Tucson Electric Power Company. Under her leadership the company has evolved from a small answering service to a boutique call center with clients through out the United States and Canada. Contact One has received the ATSI (Association for Teleservices International) Award of Excellence for the past two years, being recognized as one of the Top Five Call Centers in the United States and Canada. She has long been recognized by her peers as an industry leader, having served on the board and been president for numerous call center trade associations including ATSI and WSTA (Western States Teleservice Association). Judy plays an active daily role in the company overseeing its growth and development to assure quality of service standards are meticulously maintained in addition to driving marketing and sales efforts.

Judy has been active in the community serving on many committees and boards for organizations such as The Boys and Girls club, United Way of Southern Arizona, Tucson Botanical Gardens and March of Dimes Celebrity Golf Tournament. She recently served as president for Women At The Top, an organization consisting of 100 businesswomen at the top of their fields in Southern Arizona. Judy understands the importance of community involvement and strongly encourages her employees to become involved.

Judy is a third generation native to Arizona. She was born into a Ranching family in the Verde Valley and spent most of her youth in Northern Arizona. She has lived in Tucson for 33 years. Judy has a tremendous appreciation for the state, and a keen interest in its economy, and its cultural dynamics.
