David Robert Williamson

Dave Williamson lives in the cool mountain climate of Flagstaff where he has resided for the past 20 years.  He is married to his beautiful wife of 25 years, Diane.  Together they have two sons.  Alex, 23, is a United States Marine who has just safely returned home from Afghanistan where he was awarded the Purple Heart.  Their youngest son Eric, 22, is currently a scuba-diver instructor on the island of St. Croix.

Dave worked in the wholesale liquor industry for 21 years in which he lived in various communities through out Arizona.  Taking his experience in the liquor industry, Dave joined Mogollon Brewing Co. in September, 2001 as the managing partner.  Dave saw an opportunity for southwestern themed spirits and he and his partner Dana Kanzler changed and amended state and federal laws to form a subdivision of Mogollon Brewing Company, Arizona High Spirits Distillery.  Arizona’s first legal distillery.  Today they make the world’s only prickly pear flavored vodka and a world class American vodka.  Single-Malt, Mesquite smoked whiskey is aging in barrels and will be released in 2 to 3 years when it has matured enough.  In addition to having his own business, Dave is the sales manager for the Flagstaff Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Dave has a strong commitment for the community he lives in and serves on several boards and service clubs.  He is on the Board of Directors for the Coconino County Sustainable Economic Development Initiative.  He is on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Coconino County Parks.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the Governor’s Council for Small Business and is an active member of the Flagstaff Sunrise Lions Club.  Over the years, Dave has helped organize numerous fund raising events in the different Arizona communities he has lived in.  Several of these fundraisers have become yearly events and are still continuing to raise funds for their local communities.
